What it costs, and what you get

Two things to know before you read the numbers: the price is the same on a public holiday, and a second animal at the same address doesn't cost extra.

01We let ourselves in the way we agreed at the meet & greet.
02Food and fresh water, to whatever routine you wrote down.
03Litter tray, or the yard, depending on the animal.
04Medication if there is any, at the dose you set.
05Ten to fifteen minutes of company — a brush, a game, or just sitting on the floor being ignored.
06A quick look around: no leaks, no open windows, mail in.
07A note in your visit log saying what happened, and how they were.

The meet & greet

Free inside our standard service area. About twenty minutes, at your place, before any booking starts.

Outside the area it's $15.00 to cover the travel — and we tell you that before you commit, never after.

Cancelling

More than 48 hours before: full refund, automatically.
24–48 hours before: 50% back.
Under 24 hours: no refund — the day has usually been turned down for someone else by then.

Changing dates is free if we can do it. Ask rather than cancelling.

Paying

Card payment through Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

Feeding visits are charged when you book. House sitting is charged only after you've seen the exact price and accepted it.

Every payment gets a receipt in your account.

One thing we won't ask you for

There is no field anywhere on this site for an alarm code, a gate code, or where you hide the spare key. Keys and access are sorted in person at the meet & greet.

A website that asks for those is a website that stores them, and a list of Wellington alarm codes shouldn't exist. How we handle your information.
