What it costs, and what you get

Feeding visits have a fixed daily price, the same whether you have one pet or several. House sitting is priced for each stay, within the range shown.

A morning visit and an evening visit every day, for pets on twice-daily meals or medication.

What happensEvery visit

01We let ourselves in the way we agreed at the meet & greet.
02We give your pets their food and fresh water, following the routine you've written down.
03We clean the litter tray, or check the garden, depending on your pets.
04If your pets take medication, we give it at the dose you've set.
05We spend some time with them, whether that's a brush, a game, or simply keeping them company.
06We take a quick look around for anything amiss, such as a leak or an open window, and bring in the mail if you've asked us to.
07We write a note in your visit log saying what we did and how your pets were.

When we visit. Morning visits are between 8 and 10am, and evening visits are between 4 and 6pm. We arrive within the window rather than at an exact minute. If you book one visit a day, you choose morning or evening.

The meet & greet

It takes about twenty minutes, at your place, before your booking starts.

Inside our standard area it costs $10.00, and it's free if you're booking three days or more.

Outside the standard area it costs $15.00 to cover travel, whatever the length of the booking. You'll see the figure before you commit.

Cancelling

If you cancel at least 4 days before a visit, you get a full refund for that visit.
If you cancel between 24 hours and 4 days before a visit, you get 70% back for that visit.
Visits less than 24 hours away are charged in full.
Visits that have already happened aren't refunded. If your meet & greet hasn't happened yet, its fee is refunded in full.
Coming home early? Tell us on your booking page, and the visits you no longer need are refunded the same way.

Moving your dates is free if we can make the new dates work, so if your plans change, ask us before you cancel.

Paying

You pay by bank transfer. When you book, we give you our account details and your booking reference, and they're on your booking page too.

Feeding visits are paid for when you book. We hold your dates while you pay, and confirm the booking as soon as the money arrives, usually by the next working day.

House sitting is paid for once you've seen the exact price and accepted it.

Every payment gets a receipt in your account.

If you send us a door code

Most people hand over a key at the meet & greet. If it's easier to send a door or alarm code, you can add it securely when you book, or later from your booking page. Please don't send codes by text or email.

It's encrypted as soon as you send it. Only the owner, team members with admin access, and the feeder assigned to your booking (from the day before it starts until the day after it ends) can open it. Every opening is recorded, and it's deleted automatically seven days after your booking ends. We can't show it back to you, which is deliberate. How we handle your information.
